It's a bird, it's a plain, it's a Ducky!

Today I took my two hour intro to low fly trapeze and aerial silks! SO MUCH FUN! I will definitely be back!

The class started with about 30 minutes of warm ups and strength exercises. Then we moved to simple things like how to hold and hang from the trapeze, how to get upside down and then some fun swinging things.

After that we got to play on the silks. First we learned how to climb up and down. Then another way to climb. Last we learned how to do some upside down stuff using the silks like a sling.

It's a great workout for upper body as well as core! I think I did pretty well but I know I'm gonna be feeling it tomorrow!

  1. How fun! :) Also, you look like a natural. I would be the one hanging upside down by one leg, trying not to fall on my head. Haha

    1. It was so much fun! I can't wait to do it again. The aerial silks are becoming very popular as fitness classes. I bet you could find one near you.
